GoBlockchain ("GoBlockchain," "we," "us," or "our") operates the websites goblockchain.net, pr.goblockchain.net, and app.goblockchain.net (collectively, the "Services"), a press release distribution platform for Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency companies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our websites, we and our service providers automatically collect:

Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, referring website, and the date and time of your visit.
Device and browser data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
Behavioral data: mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and interactions with page elements, collected through session replay and heatmap technology (see "Analytics and Tracking Technologies" below).
Cookies and similar technologies: described in Section 4.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including distributing your press releases to media outlets;
Process transactions and send related information such as confirmations, invoices, and campaign reports;
Respond to your inquiries, demo requests, and support needs;
Send marketing communications, newsletters, and PR tips and insights (you can opt out at any time);
Personalize your experience and the content we show you;
Understand how visitors use our websites so we can improve usability, content, and performance;
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues;
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and editorial guidelines.

3. Analytics and Tracking Technologies

We use the following third-party services on our websites:

HubSpot. Our website is hosted on the HubSpot platform, and we use HubSpot for forms, customer relationship management (CRM), email marketing, and website analytics. HubSpot places cookies that allow us to recognize returning visitors and, once you submit a form, associate your browsing activity on our site with your contact record. You can read HubSpot's privacy policy at https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

Microsoft Clarity. We partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. This includes data on mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling. Clarity automatically masks sensitive content such as text typed into input fields. We use this information to improve our website's usability and performance. Data collected by Clarity is also used by Microsoft as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic, audience demographics, and marketing performance. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about your use of our site. You can learn more at https://policies.google.com/privacy and opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We use:

Essential cookies, which are necessary for the website and platform to function (for example, keeping you logged in to your account);
Analytics cookies, which help us understand how visitors use our site (HubSpot, Microsoft Clarity[, Google Analytics]);
Marketing cookies, which allow us to recognize you across visits and deliver relevant communications.

Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect site functionality.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting and CRM (HubSpot), analytics (Microsoft Clarity[, Google]), payment processing, and email delivery. These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us.
Media partners. When you submit a press release for distribution, the content of that release — including any company contact information you include in it — is shared with and published by our media partners. Press releases are public by design.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of GoBlockchain, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Press Releases and Blockchain Verification

Please be aware that press releases submitted through GoBlockchain are intended for public distribution. Any information contained in a press release — including names, quotes, and contact details — will be published on third-party media outlets and our News Hub and may be indexed by search engines.

Our PRVerified feature creates a cryptographic hash (a digital fingerprint) of your press release and records it on a public blockchain to allow anyone to verify the release's authenticity and integrity. Blockchain records are permanent and cannot be altered or deleted. The hash itself does not reveal the content of your release, but the verification record is immutable. Please consider this before submitting content containing personal information.

7. Email Communications

If you subscribe to our newsletter or submit a form, we may send you marketing emails about our services, PR tips, and industry insights. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect transactional emails related to your account or active campaigns, such as payment confirmations or campaign reports.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Contact records in our CRM are retained while we have an ongoing business relationship or legitimate business interest. You may request deletion of your information as described in Section 10. Note that published press releases and blockchain verification records cannot be recalled or deleted once distributed.

9. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate information;
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
  • Portability — request your information in a portable format;
  • Opt-out — opt out of marketing communications at any time;
  • Objection / restriction — object to or request that we restrict certain processing.

For residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland: We process your personal data on the legal bases of contract performance, legitimate interests, consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing), and legal compliance. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion or correction, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@goblockchain.net. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

11. International Data Transfers

GoBlockchain is based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you are located outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

12. Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-Party Links

Our websites contain links to third-party websites, including media outlets where press releases are published. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by posting a notice on our website or, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
